19/09/09 Planting Broccoli for the Winter

Have been planting out broccoli plants - well planted the first ones 10 days ago and they are looking good, so bought some more plants.

Hopefully I timed it just right, only a couple of weeks ago, temperatures were still very high and it would have been difficult planting out brassicas in the sun.
On the other hand, it is surprising how quickly the summer comes to an end and by being a bit too late planting, can result in too little growth before winter sets in.
