Part of the enjoyment of living in the Spanish countryside is the cuisine, whether you are eating in or out.
If you are eating in however, the greatest joy must come from eating the produce from your own garden.

Here we detail some favourite recipies, most of which use at least some ingredients that may be available just outside your door, and all, we feel, are part of the outdoor cookin/eating/life.

Recipies here are our own modifications of existing ones and where possible we have indicated where we have gained the inspiration.

Precise measurements are not always given for the ingredients - partly because we may never have measured them ourselves and partly to alow room for your own variations.
After all, part of the enjoyment of eating out, is that a particular recipe or dish is not standardised and exactly the same whoever has prepared it. We enjoy variation and being able to make comparisons.

We enjoy living what we believe is a healthy life in the Spanish countryside and fresh vegetables play a large part in that. We also try to keep the use of red meat, eggs and dairy products to a minimum.
